Mario Martinez

Mario grew up on the east and west coast, in Sunnyvale, CA, and Alpharetta, GA. He graduated from Georgia State University with degrees in Finance and Economics, and once served as a program chair for Leadership Georgia as an alumnus. Just like his bicoastal roots, Mario has two sides––the finance whiz and the thrill-seeking undercover rockstar. He credits this balance to his children, who keep him laughing and humble, and his wife who inspires him to “keep doing good.”

Mario is a lover of music- including rock, blues, and jazz. He spends as much free time as possible playing the guitar and drums. His interest goes beyond the music room––and on to the road with a passion for cars and motorcycles (hence the road trip on a BMW motorcycle through the Swiss Alps). One of his favorite pastimes is going to the movies and discussing his favorite filmmakers with others—Kubrick, PT Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Chris Nolan, Woody Allen, and Denis Villeneuve. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family.
